I personally don't think it's such a bad thing - i mean, everything is leaked onto the net by means of file transfer programs (Soulseek/Kazaa etc) anyway....
I've never had a problem with a kid downloading any of my bands music - if someone can't afford to buy off you, that shouldn't stop them enjoying your band.

anything you can play on the internet can be either saved or recorded anyway, alot of people just dont know how to do it or never bother to find out how to do it.
me and my friends download loads of stuff from the internet.. cause there's hardly any other way of getting underground music. (and when i say underground music i mean bands from america/canada/australia etc which have no mainstream distrobution)
when it comes down to it, we'd rather have the plastic. doesnt matter if you can listen to the songs already on your pc. having the plastic and supporting the band that makes the music is always preferable. But sometimes it's just not possible.
